Can these polished wheels be brought back 100%?

Im thinking of picking up these used CCW 19s for my GTO, but they have some scratches it seems and also looks like some "micro-marring" from improper washing/polishing I presume.

Heres the pics:

Yea thats what I was thinking as well but Im not sure about the scratch in the 2nd to last picture...

You can try the yellow powerball to see if you can remove the scratch. I myself use a red powerball to restore my 19 OEM chrome rims when I bought them.

If they are really "scratches" that you can catch a finger nail on I would think it would be VERY difficult to remove with conventional detailing methods, if not impossible. If it's surface marring I would think you could correct that. :nixweiss

Good luck.

Mother's Powerball and PowerMetal to start with; that will get the BIG stuff and get a good general shine to them.

Go back with Adam's Metal Polish combo 1 and 2; the stuff is GREAT and warrants every good praise it gets. Really the best you can do without breaking out a bench grinder; buffing wheel and rouge starting from scratch.
