Can someone recommend a good Shampoo?

If you want z7 and you live in the LA, CA area you can get it from LA ZAINO they are in santamonica. cool folks too!!!!!

I have been pleased with the P21S Body Work Shampoo, as well as the BMW Brand Shampoo that comes in the silver bottle...both suds up well and do not strip wax.

I was wondering about the Poorboys Shampoo - does anyone use this product?

Recently tried out Optimum Car Shampoo and find it as good as Meguiar's GC shampoo, definately one car shampoo to try out.

I like NXT, 1Z Perls, and EO Wet. I am going to give TOL Bubble Bath and PB's SS&S a try as soon as I get a chance.

I've tried GC, NXT, and BMW shampoo and the BMW is hands down the best I've used. I tried to find Sonax but no one carries it. I wasn't to concerned because they say that the BMW shampoo is Sonax. I use NXT if I'm going to polish/wax a car. It's easily available and priced right.

Am I missing something or is Turtle wax platimun car wash not any good? I switched to it from Eagle One and it seemes to do better. And it's OTC.

Re: the BMW Shampoo, I get it right from my dealership, and it is very reasonably priced. The shampoo is orange, with an orange scent, not overly strong though. It is in a silver bottle as well.

Bought 12 gallons of Zymol for 2.99 a gal at Big Lots, so that will be my favorite for a while.

Oh, I forgot about Pinnacle. It's hardly economical, but when you want to treat yourself (and your car) it's hard to beat. It's super slick, and that tropical smell on a warm, summer evening is memorable. It can be pretty harsh, however, especially on a fresh application of Souveran.

SS&S, GC, NXT, Sonax are all good. I'm currently on Meg's Hyper Wash and am really liking it.

I just got a gallon and it didn't have a pump, did your bottle come with a pump? I'm thinking about putting it in a smaller carwash bottle or something.

Actually, its quite good. I still have some and works very well...equal to several bigger names. Its very mild and its suds last. Great watermelon fragrance too.

I also like EO Wet and Mothers GC. I have several jugs of the NXT but I'm waiting to finish others before opening one.

I personally think QEW is hard to beat but if my car is really grimy and it's warm outside I like Eagle One (the old red stuff) as a great overall wash product for any type of LSP. However, if you are going the carnauba route I find that Zip Carnauba Wax (which is dirt cheap at WallyWorld) is a tremendous value and IMO has good lubricity and plenty of suds.

Out of the wash soaps that i've used, NXT and Eagle One (red formula) are the best that I've used. When I first got interested into this detailing obsession that I now have, I got a jug of some Blue Coral foaming suds or whatever it was called. uhhh.... either by making a water/soap solution or being poured directly onto the paint, both of the above formulas had better lubricity after being diluted in water than the blue coral product. ATM I have SS&S on order, along with a simple green foam gun so i'll see how that turns out in the comming week.
