Can someone help me with how to properly detail the engine bay?

So I've used a few different products (degreasers, simple green, etc... going to try S&W on painted surfaces) but no great results. I've never tried it w/ the pressure washer but I'm thinking thats the way to go. I know to cover up the distibuter and any exposed electrical stuff. I'd really like to offer this as an option to customers and know how for my own knowledge. Thanks in advance DC! Andrew

a pressure washer is definetly a must to do a great job. as long as you dont spray the plugs, altenator, or cap and rotor directly, you should be ok. i never block of anything and haven't had trouble after i learned that first lesson many moons ago.
