Can OP take care of minor marring?

I have a few areas on my horizontal surfaces that have very faint hairline scratches that I can only see under certain lighting conditions. My car is silver. I should probably ignore them but it bugs me that they are there. I tried removing them with OP and an Edge2000 Green pad but it didn't seem to affect them at all. Did I not work the polish long enough? Should I go to the most aggressive edge pad (yellow)? I also have some propel 4" green and yellow pads, BTW. Or do I need to buy a more aggressive polish? Or should I give up and hide them with a glaze? I'm using the Duragloss line right now and am not sure where a glaze would fit into this lineup.

Right now Optimum Polish is the only polish I own. I'm trying to figure out if I need to buy a more aggressive polish or learn how to use OP. Somebody must have some ideas out there :help:

I'd try the OP on the more aggressive pad. Remember, work it in very slowly, use a high speed (5-6 on the PC) and use some pressure. If that doesn't do it you'll need a more aggressive polish. If it does do it I would then follow up with OP on a green just to take care of any residual marring from the yellow pad.

Cheers.
