Can One Dilute Griots HD Wheel Cleaner?

Like the title says, I have a bottle of griots heavy duty wheel cleaner and love the way it works.. But I seem to go through quite a bit of it every time I use it. Can I dilute it down without losing too much effectiveness? I clean the car fairly regularly.

Thanks!

Thats the downfall to Griots stuff. Works like crazy, but the economy in it just sucks. I never had any luck cutting any of it. I love their interior cleaner, but cant afford to use it.

If you're doing maintenance washes on a regular basis there shouldn't be much dirt, or hard to remove dirt on the wheels. Try cutting it in a small amount and test. I think you'll get good results.

I haven't touched the wheels of my cars with anything but car wash soap since sealing them with BFWD in March and wiping down with Hydro after every wash.

i really like the griot's hd wheel cleaner, but try to reserve it for really bad stuff, rather trying to cut it. once my wheels were clean using it, a less expensive apc usually works well for maintenance cleaning.

Hmm yeah you guys have a point. Maybe I'll separate some from the bottle, dilute it a bit, and test it out. I'm using it for plastidipped wheels so for the most part they don't retain brake dust as much as regular wheels do, from my experience.

I'm also planning on using Klasse HG SG on them so maybe I'll just need to use car soap every wash to get the dust off
