Can IPA remove Klasse AIO?

I want to put a few coats of Zaino Z-2 on my car this weekend after a wash, clay and paintwork cleaner (maybe even a polish with Menz 106FF). I didn't order any Zaino AIO so I'd like to use Klasse AIO.

However, I'm told Zaino products don't work to their full potential when mixed with other products. So if I clean the paint with KAIO (PC 7424) and wipe it down immediately with IPA (70%, not diluted any further) will it remove the KAIO and leave a clean, sealant-free clearcoat for the Z-2?

Or .. if I do KAIO first and polish with 106FF, the Menz will remove any sealant the Klasse left behind?

Yes! Any abrasive polish will remove a sealant, regardless of how fine it is.

KAIO is IMO way more of a chemical cleaner then a sealant

and is a great base for ANY LSP even Zaino

also the oils from polishing with 106ff is what you want to avoid

and the proper order would be polish with 106ff

then KAIO then your Z-2

Awesome, thanks!

But I don't think the Zaino is an LSP in this case. Doesn't the Z-2 have some sealant properties? I don't want the Z-2 polymers to have trouble curing over the KAIO.

I'am sorry I not sure what you are talking about

LSP = Last Step Product ( the last wax or sealant you apply) = Z2 for you

that mean it(Z-2) will will have no problems curing over KAIO

Many people have used Z2 as their LSP on top of KAIO with great success (myself included) before Zaino came out with their own AIO.

I'm planning my first polishing project on my Acura Saturday. (I've been using the KAIO/KSG combo for years but I got a PC for Xmas!) I didn't realize that 106FF needs to be followed by KAIO before the sealant. Thanks for the tip!
