I was feeling a little hungry the other day and it wasn't quite meal time so I decided to have a snack. :eat: I reached for a bag of one of my favorite candies . . . Swedish Fish. :rockon

While I was chewing away on the delicious little red candies, for no particular reason I decided to read the ingredients. HOLY MOLEY! One of the ingredients listed, although near the bottom of the list, was carnauba wax.

I couldn't believe it. So, I guess all you guys who want to eat Natty's Blue because of the smell can go ahead and do so (j/k). :stuart:

NO WAY!? I love swedish fish too hehe. My buddy buys a huge box and puts them in his locker. I will have to check that out next time I go there for a snack!

I think you guys would be suprised at how many products contain carnauba wax.... everything from gummi-bears to hair care products, to some toothpastes

You guys remember Point Break? When they are in the lab researching what carnuba wax is used for, they say something like 76 different uses and over 500 products. Including mustache wax, and SexWax (surf wax)

I've always known that carnauba wax is used in quite a number of products like the ones named. I was just surprised to see it in a food product.
