Can I use __ with a rotary?

Gents, I was curious as I only have a rotary buffer. Can I use a paint cleaner and Autoglym's SRP by rotary? I normally use them with a German applicator, but I'm looking to do the whole car as it's actually not supposed to rain for once in my corner of England tomorrow? I can use them by hand, but I'm looking to not kill myself and save some time if possible. I know how to use these products with a DA, unfortunately, I don't have one at the moment. I shipped it off to my dad so he could clean up a recent used car purchase.

I would think that if I went with a light polishing pad or a finishing pad at low speed they would be fine. Maybe cleaner with a white pad and SRP with a black pad followed up by my wax off of the soft side of a German applicator? Do you guys have any ideas on this? FWIW, I'm going to use Mother's step 1 paint cleaner since I have it left unopened from the days before I had a machine.

Also, I wouldn't be offended if this thread were used by others for their similar queries for rotary suitability.

Thanks in advance.

If you have good technique, you will be perfectly fine. If you use aggressive pads and get ham fisted, you'll get nice buffer trails.

Thanks, Dan. I'll give it a go then. I was hoping that low speeds and soft pads would work. Tomorrow will tell. Apologies for the misplaced question mark in my OP.

You're fine using a rotary for everything, I did for several years, and it all depends on the right pad you select for the product. Your plans sounds pretty good, just keep in mind to lower the speeds if you're just spreading/cleaning/covering/etc, cutting requires the higher speeds, but not most of the rest, especially using a finishing pad which has zero to no cut.
