Can I reapply Klasse AIO after wash?

Just applied Klasse twins these weekend and so happy with the result. My question is , "Is it advisable to reapply Klasse AIO after every monthly car wash? Or shall I just spray it with Sonus QD?" Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

:work:

AIO will remove the sealant. You can allways put another layer of sealant of course. Or topping it with a carnauba wax.

Yeah, just add another coat of the KSG. If you really need to you might use some Sonus green clay to clean it a bit, but I sure wouldn't redo the AIO any time soon.

I'd wash it more frequently than "monthly" though ;)

Shall I just put the sealant then instead of AIO? Or will the carnauba wax removed a sealant the AIO? Sorry I'm a newby.

That is correct, mike, you would just apply another coat of sealant, and not do anything with AIO. AIO is a paint cleaner which means you would be starting all over from scratch if you start off with it. Instead, start building up a few layers of sealant. To be honest, I don't find that SG looks all the great until you get quite a few coats/layers on, but that's just my opinion. Wash your car as needed, and throw on a fresh coat of SG each time if you want to. As long as there's at least 24 hours between each coat you are fine. Just remember to do very thin, even coats. Don't go crazy with the stuff.

Also, a quick little cleaning with a mild clay like Accumulator suggested definitely isn't a bad idea, and would keep the finish nice and smooth, but again, be very gentle.

A carnauba will not remove the KSG (unless you use some kind of a cleaner-wax, I wouldn't do that) but it will pevent you from adding more KSG (the KSG won't bond to the waxed surface). I wouldn't add any wax until you have at least a few layers of KSG on there, but then I don't put wax on my KSG at all ;)

Thanks you all. I'll just apply SG every time I wash my car. Unfortunately can't do it every weekend due to a busy schedule. Just thinking of QD it every weekend before going somewhere. Plus, my Sequoia takes lot of hours to finish.

LOL, yes that's a big vehicle. You can reapply SG as many times as you want, and as often as you want all the way up to the point where you think your finish start to show blemishes and requires a fresh polish. There really is no exact science here, just feel it out and play with it.

Be sure whatever qd you use will work well with sealants. Some qd's are designed for carnauba waxes while some are for geared more toward sealants. Two different animals.

I think I know what you mean ;) So.....AIO will remove the Klasse SG or, if you've topped the whole thing with a carnauba, it'll remove that too. So, if you don't want to re-do everything, just re-top with SG or carnauba. (Bear in mind that you can't apply SG over a carnauba: it won't bond.)

I have a Sonus QD Spritz that I will be using for my sealant. Is these a good QD for Klasse Sealant? Well when I ordered my Klasse Twins it comes with these QD so I'm thinking it is designed for my sealant.

So JDookie, what kind of wax you're using in your car?

Is this the qd that came with your kit?

Klasse All-In-One & Sealant Glaze Car Detail Spray

If so, it will be perfect.

LOL, what am I using? To be perfectly honest, I don't have a "favorite." First of all, I have a LOT of products. I like to try just about every new product I can get my hands on so that when questions and discussions come up on them I can join in the conversations with some level of knowledge and experience.

Sure, I do favor some products over others, but the "proof in the pudding" mostly lies in the hands of personal preference, nothing more. That being said, some detailing products work better in different climates, and especially on different cars, so there is no *perfect* product, imo.

All I will say is that most everything discussed on this forum is great, and if it weren't, you would certainly hear about it WAY before you used it. :2thumbs:

Yes you got it right my friend. That's the QD that comes with my Klasse twins.

Yah, when I first time visit these site and after reading tons of thread I was really amazed and educated. Just so fortunate to have someone to ask and really knowledgable on any stuff. Great forum though!
