Hi, i been using the PC on my car for awhile and i notice almost my whole car has orange peel. can using the PC cause this? i have a 03 honda accord and i heard honda paint have bad orange peel, but i dont expect almost the whole car to have orange peel. thanks

Probably not. Orange peel I believe is caused at the factory when the paint is baked in, causing the solvent to evaporate too quickly leaving an unsmooth surface (I'm sure someone will correct me on this).

Frequent polishing *may* eventually reduce orange peel, although I wouldn't recommend it.

What I'm thinking is you may have gotten your paint to look good enough to the point where shine actually highlights the orange peel.

Orange peel is caused during the painting process and can't be fixed or caused by buffing. It is a job for wetsanding.

Polishing isn't going to reduce OP, as Jngbrdman said, it is a job reserved for wetsanding. And even then, I don't know if I'd try to remove it. You never know how far down in the paint layer the OP is. If it's near the base coat, do you really want to remove that much clear just to have no OP? Just think of it as more shimmer :D

As the others said, definitely not caused by buffing. It is a paint defect. Wetsanding can correct OP, however, like the others said it is risky. Goodspeed Motoring has a good article on correcting orange peel with wetsanding.
