Camaro Specific Question...

Hey guys, I have a question, what do you do with this little triangular piece of trim, do you treat it like the other painted surfaces or as a piece of plastic trim, like rubber or vinyl. I used a wax last fall which I believe is relabeled vanilla moose, or similar and I tried waxing it and it didn't come off all the way and left some weird streaks on it. I can replace the piece no problem but I need to know how to treat it from now on, thanks a lot.

Good question.....I always wondered the same thing on my TA

Also the trim piece between the TTops on mine has some bad rain spots.....I am hoping to use Klasse AIO on both those parts....I have no clue how it will turn out though

i'm no camaro owner but maybe i can help. :)

from the picture, it looks like it's a plastic piece. if it is plastic, or a non-pourous surface, you can use klasse aio on it. other than that, i'm not sure.

I polish mine with the polish I am using at the time.

AIO, VM, Menzerna IP/FP, Poorboy's, etc. have all worked on mine. Make sure to protect them after you get them polished up.

AIO or any of the SSR's will do the trick so will vm. Im disappointed you directed that ? to camaro guys only. :(

Even though that piece on my Z28 convertible retracts I believe we all have the same material. I treat it like the rest of my "painted" surfaces. Polish and protect.
