Calling All Pro-Detailers....How Many of You??????????

For all of those that are mobile, have you ever been hassled, reported, or fined by the city for not having a water reclaimation system? I'm in CA so I'm sure the laws here are more stringent, but I'd like to hear what anyone has to say about that and how much that is really enforced.

Also, on your business card do you list yourself as a mobile detailer, even if you don't carry your own water or electricity?

Here in MD, the laws vary by county. However, when I am at customers homes (driveways or in front on the street), its no different than washing your own vehicle at your house. Now that I am using ONR, businesses a little less stressful, when it comes to water reclaimation, just because you are not flooding the parking lot or area where you are performing the job.

The only time I can think of when I was on the look-out for any JohnQ Laws, was in a draught in the summer time. Again, this was before I started carrying my own water. But the draught water laws only apply to residence with city supply water, any residence with well water, does not have to obey the city draught restrictions.

But now with carrying my own water and using ONR, I have not really worried about it to much. I have all my MSDS's and most of the time I am on private property., even the businesses I do. I dont really have any customers at county or goverment offices, and if did, I would ask to perform the job at their home.

I use the customers water and electricity all the time, no one bats an eye. the only person that ever did was a cheapskate dealer that said he should get a better dealer since i was using his water and power:think: I dont work for him anymore;)

I am about to buy an 1800 wattt inverter style generator to do office/ jobsite stuff for power washing excavates and stuff

I hate ONR!
