I know they prevent brakedust from flying on your rims... But does anyone have anything against this product?

I had a set on my truck for a while. They do help some and mine had some air scoops to pull air into the brake system. I never noticed any problems with them but after a while I got tires of looking at them and pulled them back off

I've had so many heat-related problems with brakes that I sure wouldn't do *anything* to inhibit the air flow. In fact, I've often done stuff to increase it.

If those things were a good idea somebody'd put 'em on at the factory.

My dad ran them on his Jeep for 6 years and never had any problems with his brakes. He is not exactly easy on his cars either. He only had to do 2 brake jobs on it in 100,000 miles. You could hardly tell that they were on there either but I guess it depends on the wheels you have.
