I'm sure folks here have used the California Duster. The makers claim it works better the more you use it. How is that? You would think that it would be more likely to scratch your car as it picks up more and more dust.

It's perfectly normal. The strands feel dry and you can't rub anything off by hand, but it's there. You can probably smell the funky waxy coating, but that's it. As said, let it sit (or wrap it) in newspaper and you'll erase your doubts in no time. :upscuzy said:my strands are not coasted with anything it feels like regular cloth.
