Cadyhak, finally finished painting, my friends truck

Looks Awesome,
I have been reading your posts about having great success without baking your paint. I assume you are painting with B/C - C/C.
Whose paint products do you use?

I usually only shoot dupont, but my friend supplied the paint this time PPG. As far as the green, it was his decision. The green is actually nicer than it looks in the picture, very mettallic. It was for a good friend, who also helped, but for a regular customer, at least $5,000+.

Thanks for the info on the paint.
I have tried PPG and wasn't impressed with the hardening capabilities when it wasn't baked.
Have used a couple other major lines but not satisfied completely. The best I have seen is Sikkens (not sure of spelling) but only when baked.I will definitely try Dupont. When I talked to the one jobber he highly recomended it also.
Thanks again and keep up the awesome work!!

Wow. That looks fantastic! Super work. How do you paint something like that? Is there some kind of outline or something or what? How do you do that?

Did that used to be a chevy?

it was/is a silverado, we put an escalade nose on it. whenever i do flames, checkered flag look, etc. you lay down the graphicsand paint, usually you paint one color lay down the the appropriate graphics paint again and peel, I had a buddy of mine, who does painted striping, come in and outline the flames with a med. blue, kinda hard to see in the pic.
