C.R. Spotless ROCKS!!!!!

These aren't before and afters, I just had to post about the C.R. Spotless. This thing is a life saver. It took me a while to actually buy this thing but I am very glad I did and extremely happy with it. I had a Ford GT to do and also the same guy had the Black Series which I have done before. Last time I had to take out some dealer induced marring and light scratches, this time was just a wash and wax. The CRS was great, it was mid day, full sun, no shade, and not one water spot on the whole car. Its nice to be able to wash the car, and then go straight to the interior with out having to dry it off. If anyone is on the fence about getting one, just do it, you won't regret it for a moment.

Excuse the poor picture quality, as I was walking out the door the morning of the job, my Nikon D40 fell out of my camera bag and broke. Its now at the repair shop and the pictures had to be taken with my phone. I just wanted to show mainly the water drying on the Black Series and that there weren't any spots.

I had to edit since the pictures were really small. Sorry, its been a while since I have been on here. LOL

Cosmin you can ge them at autogeek or detailersdomain. I have one bit I've not had a chance to use it. Still new in box. Sigh.

It's a fantastic product except when it comes time to buy the resin refills. I have pretty hard water so the resin doesn't last as long as I'd like it to. I can maybe rinse 30-40 cars before the TDS meter starts climbing.

I bought mine from costco.com, they dropped the price 50 dollars since I purchased mine. If you have a costco membership its probably cheapest.

It's a good unit, until you realize it only lasts for 3-4 rinses and the resin is dead. Atleast mine did on hard well water.

Sounds like you pushed water through it way too fast.

Cosmin, like HiTek said, I bought mine at Costco as well. I bought it there because it was 369 plus you get an extra resin for free. That resin is 90 bucks I think, so a free one was a good deal. Yes that is it in the picture. I don't use it on every car, mine yes because the last thing I want to do is work on my car when I'm not working. I use it when I know I'll be in full sun, or if the car is black. The Ford, I didn't use it on cause its silver and it was cloudy in the morning. When I got to the Mercedes it was hot and in full sun. WELL WORTH IT!!!

Thanks 4 sharing. How does the CRS actually work? Any vids available?

Acutally yes, there are vids I think on their website. They talk about it a little and show you over a time lapsed video how it works. The water just evaporates. If you are in a dusty area its best to dry it after a while because all the dust will sit in the water causing spotting. After about 35-40 minutes I actually dried the remaining water off the Black Series just cause I was done and leaving. I didn't want to leave him with a wet car even if it wasn't going to spot up or not. Its crazy to see this thing work.

Nice cars, nice to hear about a good product that works well.

Let us know how long it lasts you. I've been meaning to get one myself as I'm sure you know.

wow that is sweet and those cars are bad ***. Only thing i'm not digging are the rims on that black benz.

I think the fact that the water does not spot is just simply amazing.

I am going to pull the trigger on one soon,... I am tired of wash my car, and then running around it with a pesticide sprayer filled with gallons of distilled water. I buy like 20 gallons of distilled water a week at the supermarket... people are starting to think I am crazy... and it still leaves water spots might I add.

I just bought one of these (GH300):

Garden Hose Filters with Higher

I got to use it for the first time today on my wife's car in partial to direct sun, and there was NO spotting! I got the cartridge that can be recharged with a brine mix, so I should be good for a while without significant additional expense. I am not sure how many washes I can do on one charge, but if I need to, I will get a back up cartridge.

These guys were really, nice, and patiently answered all of my questions, too.

Been using one for more than a year and love it. We have hard water 225ppm, I use it only for the final rinse.

No runs out the side mirrors, or anywhere that will look bad.

I'm working on a company that recharges the resin, and hope to post up info soon. I've also found 1 cu/ft of resin for 95$ shipping is about 35$ best deal around.

Cheers,

GREG
