BWM Orgy - Ducati 996 sps and his litlle brother

Flatfour

This was a fine week for me :

BWM 540 D (as in diesel, 320 hp - 630 Nm of torque, this car rips a 911 into slime...)

Treated with the full monty :

Clay-Polish with Menzerna-Autoglym extra gloss-Natty's...

This car looks almost liquid in the sun, she has done well over 80.000 miles, mostly driven hard on the highway - sorry Autobahn - at illegal speeds. (When I drive those speeds in the US I probably make it to "breaking news" all day...LOL)

BMW M3 Csl, hardcore track car, also driven that way, I used 4 claybars to remove the excess of tar spots and melted rubber/brake grime from the lower parts of the car. But boy, this car is sickening sweet to drive !

Note the horny pic of the carbon roof in the sun...

BMW 630 Cabrio

Wash - clay - polish with Optimum mix and finished with Souveran...

No interior shots, owner had very litlle time...

Ducati 996 sps road racer, fully modified, bleutooth mappable ECU, changed to race spec.

Pristine condition but regulary driven on track and road...

Color scheme from '05 I think (instead of red/white)

Washed - clayed - AIO - SG - Natty's on wheels...

Those BMW's are simply awesome cars and your finish work makes them all the sweeter.

I have a guy that wants me to detail his crouch rocket...I haven't the clue on how/where to begin in the process of detailing a bike.

Perhaps sometime you can pm me, or post here for others benefit as well.

Detailing a bike is not that difficult.

I "wet" the whole bike, spray some citrus degreaser on it (diluted), wash with a MF mitt and some soft brushes, then rinse again and dry as much as you can.

Then I dismantle the tub, do the whole engine like on a car (rinse again, citrus degreaser with some brushes).

Dry all, start to clean the painted/carbon panels with AIO or similar.

Do the whole engine/suspension with a dressing.

Add SG/wax of choice, you then can do the two half tubs when you place them on a bench.

Also treat all metal/alu/titanium parts with the correct cleaners/protection.

Put the bike together.

Go over it with some quick detail and finish !

Thanks for all compliments.

I'd rather prefer a regular M3as this car is just too hardcore for road use... :grinno:

The black 540 D was a pig to work, swirl city and even after a few passes with Menzerna (PO S 34 A and PO 85 u) there where still minor swirls and scratches, this was after 2 hours of polishing with an orange cutting pad !

Also the fine scratches around the trunk-lock are still visible...

See here wich Menzerna polishes are available in Europe : http://www.menzerna.de/files/E_Polish.pdf

I love the PC to work with, after a few weeks I really don't use the rotary anymore, unless for heavy work.

I'm still working as a windowcleaner for my main job, so all that detailing is my "second" job, but I think that will change very soon, people start calling now to make appointements...

we dont even have them here...

those wheels are so nice.. ..

i just want to be able to hear one roaring down the road.. the intake system is supposed to be fantastic. .

Hi,

This is my first post here. Great work on great cars, but I never heard of a 540d, sure its not a 535 ;)

Were do you buy all that stuff, like menzerna, autoglym, natty's??? Or did you order them online?
