Hello to all and a Happy New Year!!!

Ok...so I'm getting things in order to buy myself some MF towels to use and stop using the old bath towels for wax and chamois that I was using to dry....can't handle the spiderwebs in the paint any longer.....especially on the lightning.

So after a good search, I came up with this..

Drying........WW (big blue, Sonus, or pakshak)

Waxing.......looking at the sonus WW or any all pupose MF

polishing ....pakshak has some of these that look good as well

anything I'm missing??

Are the towels that I mentioned being used for the specific jobs?

The only one I'm unsure of is the wax towel.

I have about $70-80 to get started with just towels.

i use pakshak towels mostly, but I do have towels from excel and autogeek. All work well. You'll be pleased with whomever you choose to buy towels from :)

Drying- Pakshak, Excell, or Fiberworks large WW

Waxing- I use a foam applicator, wax removal I use a Extra plush MF from Pak or Fiberworks

Buffing- same as removing

Polish removal- Blue or yellow supremes from Excell or plush from Pak work great.

If you wanted to spend all your money at one place either Pakshak or Excelldetail would be my #1-#2 choice.

I would stick with regular MF's for removing paint cleaners, polishes, waxes, sealants and QD'ing. Use your WW towels for drying.

Personally, I like thicker MF's for removing paint cleaners, polishes, and slightly thinner towels for removing waxes, sealants. I also like to use smaller WW towels for window cleaning. However, these are just personal preferences. As long as you are using high quality MF towels, and take care of them properly, you'll be fine.

Same as Sean but I like the ExcelDetail edgeless wax removal towels.

I also recommend the PakShak drying towel which is the best I have used although I am taking a shining to the new AutoGeek Guzzlers...

The plush towels from Pak or Poorboys are very nice.

wow...you guys are great.....

I appreciate all of the info. I looked on autogeek and they have a few kits that look fairly decent for starts. I think I like the guzzler too..... I may get one of those and one from pakshak and see which one I like better.

After the towels, I plan on getting the PC kit from autogeek as well....

then practice...practice.....practice

thanks again guys

Is there a coupon code that I can use at Pakshak?? I remember reading that new customers get a discount or could use a coupon code...???

"At the store checkout, if you would please enter under the comment section, "Autopia Special". We will then manually adjust the prices to reflect the Autopia discount as quoted."
