Buying a PC 7336SP was the worst decision ever.

Also, I am confident in polishing a $950,000 Shelby Cobra to absolute Barrett-Jackson quality, plus a little more.

With a Rotary, I would not trust myself finishing down *PERFECT* on a 1 million dollar car quite yet. I would get the PC for the last 2 polishing steps, because *KNOW* it will do the job PERFECTLY.

Confidence is a big part of detailing, and the PC can gift that confidence to anyone, Rotary you need to EARN that confidence over years and years of practice.

And I mean years.

Nobody can pick up a rotary, and be a pro. If you think you can, you will be proved wrong sometime in the future, and for your sake I hope it is on your own car.

Like 90% of detailers, I have NEVER damaged a car with the PC, and I have damaged a car with the Rotary. :tribe:

And some of us will simply never do enough polishing to gain that mastery simply because we don't do this stuff all that much.

Heh heh, whereas *I* have never damaged paint with a rotary, but I *have* with a PC  I can't help but think it's because I'm more respectful of/careful with the rotaries, but it sure never seems like that at the time I'm actually doing the work :nixweiss

The PC will do great work if used right ... and the rotary lousy work if used wrong .

Here is rotary work I corrected yesterday with a PC

I had to use Hyper Compound on a yellow pad followed by compound on a white pad ..

LSP was Megs #26. Car belongs to the local Chev dealer so a sealant wasn't used .
