buying a Little green machine, suggestions?

zesty-man

how do ya like it?
well, im planning on getting the little green machine, becaue its something thats affordable for me, and i dont plan on running into any major stains in the near future. i just need something that can take some dirt out of the carpets, and make them look "nice and neat". so, i was wondering

is there any certain model i should buy?
are there any additional attachments i should buy?
are there any custom "settings" i should use?

thanks for the help

Yes - buy the proheat model w/turbobrush (usually around $89-$99)

No - I dont think that they're really are any extra attachments, you get 3 or 4 attachments with it

Custom Settings = power - on / heat - on

I'd say go with the heated model. Mine came with several attachments. I don't think there are extras available. No custom settings on mine; on and off, heat/no heat. Check for discount websites if you're trying to save some money. I bought mine from Overstock.com for something like $43 shipped (heated model). Their are probably a few other sites like that.

I think you meant crevice attachment, no? What does it matter. I got a kick out of it :rolling

zesty, I don't know what kind of shampoo you plan on using, but Nick recomended Top of the Line's Rug Renew to put in the machine, and I am going to try it. The machine only comes with a small sample, and the Bissell refils are pretty pricey.

try some woolite. And woolite has a new spray that I just picked up / Woolite Oxyclean Im gonna try it out

Im like zesty, kinda on a tight budget going to try the little green machine out myself here it does a nice job but the tanks are kinda small but oh well got to start somewhere
