Buy this man a cee gar!

I've seen that video a while back. I agree that more than likely the store owner didn't even know what he was doing was illegal. He may have even though he was doing a good thing by flying both flags and not just one. The ironic thing is that I don't think he would be allowed to do that even in Mexico.

I never said anything about anyone's gender, religion or ethnicity. Those things have nothing to do with the subject at hand. Don't turn a discussion about someone flying a different countries flag above ours into something completly different just for the sake of argument.

The guy never said anything about being upset due to the shop owner being a male, what God he prayed to or the fact that he was hispanic. Leave this discussion where it is......with the fact that the shop owner was in the wrong for flying his flag above ours and that the guy who cut it down could have handled it differently.

Politics at its best, if we can keep the people riled up over stupid, inflammatory issues, that don't amount to anything, they won't notice that the government and big business are selling them out, etc. I think a former world leader called that technique "the big lie".

Maybe if we all got our heads out of Britney's butt and stopped drinking the Kool-Aid we might actually see what is going on and what is wrong with things.

EDIT: Sometimes I really feel like we're in that John Carpenter movie "They Live"...now where are my sunglasses? ;)

I think this could have been handled better if he walked into the store and asked to speak to the owner (assuming he can speak English). The owner probably would have corrected the problem.

Neither did I; I figured it would be disrespectful but not illegal. The fact is that patriot could have been shot on T.V for stealing (and vandalizing property) by the shop owner and the owner would walk. Especially with a large knife in hand yelling out they can't take it away from him. His heart was in the right place but his actions were way off imo. A simple stop by the boys/gals in blue would have solved this issue.
