Butchers Shower Foam Gun - Pricing

Yep. I actually wanted to order from Messners, but the hassle of ordering by phone got in the way and I didn't like the $15 "shipping and handling" fee.

Well, I got the puppy now. I hope that it works OK.

Regards,

Dan.

Well, good news, bad news. I found the Butcher's Gun locally for $50.55 and they will ship. They will also ship with actual shipping charges and not an inflated shipping charge like Messeners. Now for the bad news. They have 1 in stock (Other than the 1 I already bought :) ) and won't be reordering until the end of the month BUT they will go ahead and take orders for anyone that wants them. So.. if anyone is interested, I'll post the info. I'm sure the last one will go pretty quick but I dont know if people are willing to order them and wait for $50.55.

It's a shame we have to jump through hoops to get one of these things :( I hope if they become popular enough our friendly online detailing vendors will consider stocking them

I think I posted earlier that I had a problem with a couple of places not responding. I think that place was one of them. The price rings a bell.

Accumulator if you need a phone number or any info from Messeners let me know. I am only 10 min. from there business. Heck I might be able to pick it up for you and send it UPS cheaper then what they charge. If I can be of help let me know. That goes for everyone.

Thanks for that offer. I just finished calling Messner's and I ordered it myself, they figured the shipping would be about $5-6 but we'll see. So yeah, I just spent a bit over $70 again :o but it's ordered and I'm OK with the cost.

Price before tax/shipping was $63.70. If you buy three they'll knock it down to $55.80 but I resisted the temptation to "accumulate" :D :o a few....

Yikes Accumulator, maybe you should've contacted my guy. I think he may haver started to receive phone calls where "Bill who uses the foam gun" is mentioned :o

Well, considering the local guy told me that they have to order Butcher's supplys in 20,000# loads, I wouldn't hold my breath. Maybe an alternate brand tho.

Yeah maybe Gilmour like mine. That truck arriving with those 20,000 loads would be a very welcome sight :D

I went and picked up my Butcher's Foam Gun today and turns out they have 5 more of them on hand. So, if anyone is interested, you can call these guys and get one.

Ask for Scott when you call in and tell him you're from Auopia. I had hesitated posting the number because he thought they only had one other than the one I was picking up but he told me when I went in that they have 5 more.

Cost on the gun is $50.55 plus freight and they will ship with real freight charges.

Yeah, between you and JayC I shoulda/coulda/woulda :o But I just went the expedient route again. But at least it's here now. Heh heh, if I'd quit choosing the quick, easy, and often expensive solution I'd probably save a bundle...

Actually got to use my gun today as well. Works great! I'm going to experiment with some different soap to see if I can generate more foam with it but overall, Im very happy with my purchase.

I noticed I only used about a gallon of water to do my wife's whole car as opposed to the 5 gallons I normally use and I thought I was being pretty liberal with the water until I finished and looked at how much was left.

JAYC if you can get hold of some PBS (Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo) I love that stuff and it works in a foamer so well!!!

hey, anyone try backing a good foam gun with a pressure washer? ;) would it handle the added pressure? I can see it now, foam exploding everywhere!

At least with mine, it's incompatible and can only screw into a hose with or without a quick disconnect attached. But if someone has a pressure washer that can accept it, definitely post a pic. At that rate, sounds like it just might be time for me to get a new one :D

Jay,

Thanks for posting this. I just bought ordered one from them a few minutes ago. They were very nice to deal with. One downside for the rest of the folks, though. I got the last one!!! :D

Best regards,

Dan.
