Well it seems to be popular right now so what do you guys think of my business card before I have a bunch made up.

Here is the one I am thinking of going with.

Here is what my current one looks like.

I like the new one but i do have question or suggestions.

The letter of the words are to computer typed looking.

What do you mean by special interest detailer.

And what does the back of it look like.

I hope i don't sound like an @$$hole

I just got finished making my business cards so i understand what you are going through.

The old one: I do not like the race car on the card, it's like what does that have to do with car detailing. Forget the "we serve all of orange county". You need a catch phrase in its place, something to grab there attention. "Bringing Your Paint Back To Life." or something of that nature.

Another vote for the old card, but I would swap the race car for a shiney detailed car and change the "Special Interest Detailer" to "Profressional Detailer" or something similar.

The open wheel car card looks like a standard vistaprint.com template. I would stay away from that.

The Font needs to be changed......IMHO

Which font? The Barry Auto Detailing, paint polishing, or the info text? Plus the image does look a little funny on the screen right now. I will try to fix that.

I like this idea. Does any one else agree?

Bingo! That is what it is. I was in a hurry to have a card to hand out at an event and I did not have time to create my own. But I think it cam out all right.

I look forward to your input!

Thanks for every ones in put. I appreciate taking your time to evaluate and comment on my business cards. I am going to tweak my new card idea and use your input to help make some of the decisions.

Here is a slightly updated card. And it should come up a little better on the screen now.

The "BarryAutoDetailing & PaintPolishing" part is in vinyl letters on the back of my car. So I want to keep that part the same so things will match.

as for the tag line, it was just something that popped in my head.

Much better...

The "PaintPolishing" font could be thicker so it's more legible.

Why are there such big gaps in the phone #, e-mail and url?

The slogan is good but just be prepared to back it up!!!

I have fixed that or at least made it better.

I just removed direct contact info as not to violate any forum rules.

The tag line was just the first thing to pop in my head, I doubt I will end up using it.. but who knows.

Ourt of curiosity.. is the blanked out section of your email address and website the initials of Barry Auto Detailing?

If they are, it reads www."bad"detailing... :hm You might look into that...

I had a friend whose last name was Messier (yup, he's a 2nd generation Canuck :chuckle: ).

He swas starting his own house painting/wallpaper business, and he asked me what I thought of the name he was thinking about...

"Messier House Painting and Wallpaper ."

People don't want "messier house painting and wallpaper"... if they wanted that, they would do it themselves!

He made a good choice by naming his business Paul's Painting and Wallpaper. He is busier than the proverbial one armed paper hanger!

No the blanked out bit is "barry" If it were the initals then it would be "baddetailing" and the "D" would be redundant. Kinda of how people call ATM machines, "ATM Machines" That would make the "M" redundant, considering the "M" stands for machine. ;)

I when I was first looking for a web address I noticed the initals and decided to steer clear of using them. :lol
