Bumper plugs????

Does any one know where you may be able to purchase bumper plugs for the front bumper. I've seen them but have yet to find any. It's the plug you put in the bumper holes after you remove a front license plate.:nixweiss
 
Thats really cool, except my state has a law about having the front plate ON the vehicle. I've been breaking the law since 2000
 
If your car is new, you may want to try the dealer. The car may have shipped with the plugs in place, and the dealer removed them to attach the plate/frame. I have heard of dealers having a bucket full of them, and they will give them to you.
 
Our state requires front plates but I have been going without for 8 years without a single problem. The only time I worried about it was at a checkpoint and even then, no mention:nixweiss

It's usually used as PC to pull people over when they would like to "talk to you" as a shake down measure. Cities that have those wonderful money generators known as red light cameras will light ya up for no front plate as that camera wants your picture with the plate. Let's just say that I know from "experience."
 
I'm from NC and the state doesn't require front tags, but when I came Italy they drill holes in the bumper of my MINI, BTW bumperplugs.com doesn't have my color. I've seen those unpainted, but I can't find a place who carries them.
