Bulk Wheel & Tire Cleaner.

Hi guy's I wanted some input on purchasing Wheel & Tire cleaner/degreaser in bulk form. Any suggestion on this would be appreciated. I am currently using Stoner "Wheel & Tire" cleaner diluted 10-1 and it still struggles with the extremely dirty wheels. In cases like this I turn to Meg's wheel brightner, but would like to keep it AIO if I could find something a little stronger in bulk form. This is for buisness fleet job's, not personal use.
 
Come on guy's, not even a whisper through a PM. I dont mean to step on any site "sponsors" toes, but I figured there would be someone on here doing big fleet jobs that would know of something that works better than what I'm useing currently.

Listen, I do not scrub these wheels and tires, I simply apply a cleaner degreaser to both the wheels and tires let sit, then pressure wash them off. There are 15 trucks that I do at my first stop, so hand scrubbing each one is out of the question, plus there work trucks, not show truck. Then again, this may be a question for another site?

When you say bulk are you talking gallons? or larger?

What cost range are you looking at since its for industry jobs?

If that is the case you should be looking at the larger manufactures like

The information you are looking for is probably going to have to come from a professional and possible even from one with a fixed location doing a high volume of work.
Those people may not have time to check the message boards as often as some of us.
I don't have any first hand knowledge of their products, but I think Car-Brite has some spray on, rinse off stuff.

Amazing Roll off all of the way! A guy recommended it on one of the forums here.

I think the larget container is a gallon but the stuff works. I was sick of cutting and bruising my fingers so I decided to try this product. I still use simple green when I want to use something with a rag, but for jobs where I know I will have bruised knuckles and fingers I use the amazing roll off and a stiff bristle brush or even a old tooth brush.

I picked it up from AutoGeek.

Also you don't have to dilute it just follow the instructions. It also protects as it cleans. PM me later and I will make sure I load up my pictures of before and after shots on the back of my rims that had not been cleaned in 2 years.

I mean no disrespect, I am simply looking for the best buy as a consumer. In my case, bulk form for the best price.

I guess one way to look at this is what is the best price on the product that you are looking for? I would think that if you are buying in 50 gallon drums then that would be better than a 5 gallon.

For best pricing you need to get to the big chemical producers and buy at the 50 gallon level that's my guess

Yeah, I have considered 55 gallon drums, if the price is right. I could get away with buying 5 gallons at a time also. Diluted properly and I can stretch that pretty far.

Then look up the site and see about a dealer in your area, they have a big one in my area and sell in 55 gals...sorry I was posting 50 haven't ever brought anything in that size before

You might have to call and ask on the 55 gals as they do not list those on the site, but I would bet they have someone in your area, they are a NO CA company

Check the yellow pages for local janitorial supply stores. You can get some good degreaser from those places in 30 and 55 gallon drums dirt cheap. And most times its not pre-cut like most places you would buy from.

Or check with automagic,carbrite,ardex, or chemical guys.
 
HiTemp & Top of the Line stuff is very good. HiTemp Tire Cleaner is one of the best as with the Wheel Wash from TOL

I buy it 60 gallons at a time and have used around 800 gallons since it came out. If you're doing fleets, making money, and in need of a "great" emulsifier (like you say), maybe it's time to give Steve a call.:hmmm:

This is an option, and ofcorse there are others also. I am shopping around is all, when I'm ready to purchase, money wont be the deterent, price will.
 
There are a few brands they cator to clients like you. I have never used any of these products but here are some to look for. They might be able to help

Car brite
Automagic
Zep (they make some car stuff)
Detailer pride

umm i have a few more on the tip of my toung (fingers) but im sure you get the idea

Thanks for the imput CalgaryDetail, I have looked into acouple of real good products and have made up my mind. I will go with P&S, the sales guy was real cool with me and the price was great also. Thanks again beemerboy for that hook-up.

Your welcome P&S is a big company and a lot of people don't know much about them. I have a local store front here that I can buy in all kinds of quantities, makes it easier for me in lots of ways.
 
Getting an all in one product that needs no scrubbing dirt cheap can be a problem. Although I don't use it Culmac's Instant No-Scrub Tire & Wheel Cleaner (Orange) does the trick. I tried it many years ago and it worked great except it was too strong for what I needed. Not sure how much it costs but it's available in 5, 30, 55 gallon sizes. They probably will send a sample too.
