Bulk Wax's and your opionion's...

I won't poke at this fire with any size stick....

However, back to the question. There's this detailer over here, he gets Klasse in big bottles, I guess that's considered bulk, kinda.

The detailers I went to probably don't match cheap wax to cheap cars. They match wax to the amount of cash you pay.

Werd. My point of view is, you can polish a turd and it'll still be a turd, but if you pay me enough to polish it with the most expensive stuff on the market, I'm more than willing to do the polishing. :xyxthumbs

id say it doesnt matter what you use its how you use it. If you want to use AM or Malco or even TOL you would have great results. In the end its how you use them. Ive actually done cars with all TOL and didnt have any problems so you figure i charged 150 use HiTemps Heavy and Light cut finished off with HiTemps Polymer Sealant. Washed with TOL car wash, total for products was like 50 bucks or so cause the sealant was free and i made a 100 profit off one car. That doesnt include the rest of the profit you'll make off the rest of the product.

I started my part time detailing using boutique only and a little care and right now ( well before winter set in ) without really persueing them I have a lot of the high end cars in town mostly because the locals use cheap bulk carnubas and the people are starting to realize that my work looks good a couple months down the road .. not a couple weeks.

A really good wax you can purchase at a reasonable price in bulk is Meguiars #26. Less than $30 a gallon and you should be able to wax at least 200 cars with a gallon.

#26 was my main wax until Autopia.

What is everyone's thoughts on S100? I've been told you can buy it at the Harley shops and it's a good wax, Is this true?

I haven't bothered to buy S100 yet even tho its touted to have the best wet shine the short life to me off sets it.. I stick with #16.

I love using S100 as a topper for polymer sealants to give the car an extra "glow" than the sealant alone sometimes can give. I wouldn't use it as a stand-alone wax though, because as mentioned, it's got a really short lifetime.
