Actually I think the lower outlet you are referring to is for the heating/cooling unit that is going in the middle of the back wall.

Few updated pics. Things are coming along (albeit a bit slowly, due to the weather :snow::rain
. Hopefully we get some nice weather soon so they can finish up.

Haven't updated this thread in a couple of weeks, so here's some new pics I took this morning. Getting close now! Still have to pour the driveway (which should begin on Monday), put in the line for the water spigot, put the gutters on, paint some trim, and some other small things.
Gravel is down for the base of the driveway
Floodlights (there is another pair on the opposite corner) and exterior electrical socket

I had a 60A box (3 20A circuits) in my garage but the electrician wired all outlets to the same breaker. I made him split it up. I also had outlets high on wall in back but wish I had some lower to ground along back wall.
I like the heat pump. I just have a kerosene heater and electric heater.

Awesome! Everything looks great! Did you go with t8 or t12 fixtures? I hope t8's because t12's are being discontinued. +1 on The Garage Journal. It is an excellent place for ideas and DIY stuff.
