Bugatti Veyron Vs Zymol Royale..(56k Xxx Warning)

Very nice results. I would like to see some extended reflective range photos with one of your royale details. You (and I) would be quite amazed at how far the EGZymols can reach. The photos were amazing, none the less.

Amazing work on an amazing car. I like to see both products used and process and as many pictures as possible :) Autopia is great :bigups

Hi everyone :wavey Thanks for the warm welcome!!!

I am currently using 3M backing plates...

Kind Regards

Paul.

:D thanks! It was really starting to bug me! Fantastic detail BTW. :heelclick :wavey

You (two) made my day.

There is a Veyron at the Bentley dealer 20 mins from my house. I am contemplating going in to poke about their detailing work and ultimately pitching my services.

Thanks Sneek!

Me and Marc have decided to do a total of 5 Super car details, so this Bugatti is the first of five cars!

Kind Regards

Paul.

On my "short list" of super cars to do: Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari Ezno, Pangani Zhonda, McLaren F1, Saleen S7. I think Paul has conquered pretty much all of those. I feel blessed that I have done several F430's and other Ferrari's but those supercars are the ones I really dream of detailing! :) Welcome to the board Paul!

Well, when every product is the newest dp, pinnacle 360 (nice pic on the for sale page of AG btw), wolfgang, etc, marked up AG product, we have to question. Not to mention the large bold letters in color of the newest and greatest AG product with, of course a pic of where to get it. As said before, just an observation.

If my posts had products that started with a "Z" we wouldn't even be having this conversation. Once again, I just don't get it. I didn't even say anything about me and somehow this started about me.

I was even called and singled out by a mod...........and that started this.

Now I'm really disappointed.

Many of the "Z" fans get bashed on here too. But, with them it's not like we're questioning the claims of the products. When so many people praise Z products, there's no doubt that their products work as claimed. People just want to hear an honest answer or opinion, so when it seems like someone is pushing a certain product, that is what starts the bashing.

With you on the other hand, there was a time when I used to find your reviews credible but at some point, your posts just became an advertisement for AutoGeek and its affiliated products. The difference between you and some of the Z fans is that you do it pretty blatantly. People are picking on you for a reason. It's not because they're doing it just because they're mean. You bring this upon yourself. I guess if someone were new or naive they'll keep listening to what you're saying. For me on the other hand, I've tuned out awhile back after I recognized the trend in your posts.

:D Care to share what these cars are? :secret Or do we have to stay tuned for this info?

Lets please not get this thread contaminated. There is no need for us to comment on the obvious, we are all adults here (for the most part), and I think this forum is pretty mature in nature.

This individual (Paul Dalton), JUST joined this forum, and I, for one, would REALLY like to see more of his details, and even take notes on some of his techniques that he will most likely be divulging upon us. Let's not give him the wrong opinion of his first impression on us by bickering over who does what, most of us are smart enough to know whats-what, and let's let everyone else figure that out on thier own.

Paul (Miracle), please take some time to peruse the click & brag section, as well as some of the other sections, such as technique discussions and such. I would love to hear more about your techniques.

See you around!!!!!!!

Yes i agree.....

If people would rather myself and paul not discuss the products used i have no problem with that.....

Unfortunatly most of my products are zymol and zaino just because that is what i have learnt with and works best for me but i do have to say that sharing my experiences on motorgeeks forums and chatting away blatantly about zymol nobody justin included gets offended.....

I think that everybody has their preferences to waxes and sealents etc and maybe i can learn a little about other great products on here.....

As for the big 5 i think Michellin named them a while ago:secret

I would actually love to hear what Paul uses, however I would not be surprised if he is bound to the same Zymol contract as cupra-clark that forbids him from mentioning what non-zymol products he uses.

I don't think anyone has a problem with you or Paul sharing what you're using . . . . well except Justin of course. :hm

Paul has actually brought back some of my interest in Zymol. Something about hand applying the wax seems so cool :) I have a bottle of HD cleanse back at home, and used to have the zymol carbon. Perhaps you or Paul could recommend a cheaper zymol wax to try out?

Dave

I have personally not used any of the coloured ranges like rouge etc because as hard as i think i just cannot understand the logic:think:

How can a wax with say a red pigment in it possibly compliment the paintwork.......

The more expensive a wax gets it usually means it has a higher white carnauba content which then generally means it has more clarity to highlight the sparkle and flake of the paintwork underneath whilst magnifying the reflection but coloured waxes just blur this or mask the result you should see.....Anyone that believes that a coloured wax will make your red look better i believe is not getting the point...or am i incorrect????

I have personally used carbon , titanium , concours , destiny and royale....

I believe that as good as the lower end waxes are you definetly see an improvement when starting at concours......

I detailed a black ford fiesta yesterday as a favour in concours and the wax made the flake of the paint bling like ive not seen on a cheaper wax or not as good lets say.....But this is always subjective to the individuals eye and one mans wine is another mans poison...

Plus i appreciate that concourse is expensive...well not for you maybe but over here its pounds per dollar so $320 to me.....

Here is the fiesta if you are interested.......done in 4 hours while owner was asleep mind....

I have been amazed at the performance of all the Zymol waxes I have observed so far. One of their best talents, in particular the EG line of waxes, is their ability to portray a deep image reflective range. I have also experienced a wider and more vibrant paint color reproduction with the Zymol waxes(especially with the upper echelon EG's). It doesn't appear to be such a dramatic difference in appearance until you compare similarly prepped surfaces with other lsp's; The difference then becomes more dramatic and apparent.

You will find many topics here which debate the attributes of the higher concentration of carnauba compounds and "white" carnauba wax extracts; But the Zymol's overwhelming finish range attributes have made a difference to me in using the their products, that IMO distinguishes their waxes from other lsps.

I think you are right there and one thing i forgot to say was how much the carnauba darkened up my paintwork on the vxr detail paul did for me......

I recently went to a motorsport event with 90 other vxr,s 55 blue as mine all in a convoy and when parked up mine was definetly darker or deeper blue than the others....
