Pressure washers take off wax?

Ok.....we couldn't leave good thread alone.

hi guys,

I've been trying to wash off my Royale wax for months, but still no joy. Pressure washers don't remove wax if used correctly...

Excellent job, I can't believe how trashed that car was.

Still waiting for someone in Dallas to get a Veyron....

...and the funniest part; amongst all the hundreds for wax, thousands for a detail, massive quantities of horsepower and cash involved all the way 'round...on the climate controls did you notice the button for ECON(omy)? Lord knows we need to watch our pennies on the mpg.

Welcome Paul, please stick around and devote some time if you can posting up in the Click & Brag section. A section devoted to showing your work and explaining your products used, and technique. I know I personally would love to see your details here on this board.

Again, on behalf of probably everyone here, WELCOME!!!!!!!

Hi everyone :wavey Thanks for the warm welcome!!!

I am currently using 3M backing plates...

Kind Regards

Paul.

You know what, I just noticed something on the UK site. They never comment about what products you use there while detailing. Not once and there are a lot of posts there. They only comment about the work. That, to me and obviously to them, is what's really important.

When I read Paul's posts, I could care less what he was using on the vehicle chemical wise. Do you think that is what makes that detail? He wet sanded a freaking Bugatti and did an amazing job! That is what it's all about.

Welcome Paul to Autopia. I hope you can look through the bad and see the good here.

Since no one asked, what polish did you guys use to level the paint?

How long did it take?

Was it just one layer of wax?

I saw a Menzerna bottle on the ground in one picture. However, I agree with Justin's last post. It's not about what product you use. It's about how you use it. Product choice definitely has an impact on results, but the man behind the machine is what really counts.

Kind of ironic for you to make that statement Justin considering your posts are a list of every detailing product made by DP, Pinnacle, or the latest product to be released.

Just a simple observation on my part.

There is good and bad on every forum.....No need to knock Autopia

True. If that's all you see. I think I also post a lot more about my processes than just about any other detailer on here. Why do you and others only want to focus on the products used. I just list them along with a ton of my steps. Just like Paul does. Some how you all to take it as advertising but this is the only place that does. I was not knocking Autopia in anyway at all.

Yes I later saw that too, along with a 3M bottle.

However, I agree with Justin's last post. It's not about what product you use. It's about how you use it.

That is so not true. What product(s) you use is very important. Why do you think Miracle or any other pro on Autopia uses what they are using?

Let us not make A$$ kissing so obvious please. :grinno: :grinno: :grinno:

I for one love learning about other products and see their results. So to me it is important to see a product list.

I agree, too. The right products make all the difference, even if it doesn't show up so well in photos.

Well I also agree here you can't say products don't make a difference or we'd all be using Old School Turtle Wax.

Well, when every product is the newest dp, pinnacle 360 (nice pic on the for sale page of AG btw), wolfgang, etc, marked up AG product, we have to question. Not to mention the large bold letters in color of the newest and greatest AG product with, of course a pic of where to get it. As said before, just an observation.

No need to detract from this gentlemans fine work.

IMO you are looking at a worldclass detail on a worldclass car.

Thanks to the OP for posting.
