Buffer on a budget, my first flex.

Ok so I'm taking the big leap into the world of polishers and I decided rather than drop mega bucks on a new Flex/PC/Makita I would keep my eyes open on ebay.

Today it paid off, I won a Flex for $36.56 -It's older and I can't even tell what model it is (says Flex original electronic, 11.4 amps and 1200 to 3000 rpm)

It looks beat up, but hopefully these last a long time and are tough.

Ok step 2: I need to order pads + product any recommendations for a newbie?!

Um..you realize that you bought a rotary polisher, not the Flex 3401 forced-rotation dual-action. You need soft, small pads if you're a newb.

Rotary or forced-rotation dual action - I was open to anything for $36 - If I was buying new, I def would have wanted to go for a dual action. -seams like they are a little more forgiving.

if you screw up using a rotary .. youll be spending more on fixing your paint then you would have if you bought a DA

just be careful
