I am having a little difficulty finishing down various parts of my clients Buell Firebolt. I contacted a very helpful guy (Jerry at Irvine B/HD) who told me that the material I am having the issue with is called Syrlan, injection molded and color tinted. I have searched pretty extensively across the internet looking for the manufacturer of this composite but can't find a thing. B/HD CS is closed for the night but I will call them tomorrow. . . unless someone has another lead or two?!?
Today, Buell's high-gloss, molded-in-color fenders, farings and other body parts help the company make its reputation for innovation stick, and give customers a more worry-free finish.
. . . if only! Easily the softest material I have ever had to correct. Upkeep is going to be interesting for this guy too.
