bryansbestwax vs subaru impreza (opti coating)

This was another clean car. The owner is a detailing enthusiast and quite picky about his paint. I had previously polished it and coated it with Cquartz, but due to some curing issues I had to come back and re-polish off the Cquartz and we opted for opticoating this time for a change. The initial Cquartz application was in 82 degree heat and 100% humidity, it actually thunder stormed 3 time while I was working on the car. I have pics to post up of the high spots that didn’t seem to show up until an hours and a half or so after application. Not knocking Cquartz though, I have done 7 other applications with zero issues.

The car was polished again with DA polishers and 205 and UCCL. The rust proofing place had instilled some marring to the paint with their complimentary wash so we went a little stronger with the polish choices.

Just after photos, there wasn’t much to see in the before

Not to be pedantic but I believe this is a 5th generation Subaru Legacy, not an Impreza.

Paint looks awesome, by the way.

ya, hit the wrong title when it dropped down. I have done a few Imprezas with it as well.

Very nice lookin Subaru! Did you notice the color deepened or darkened with the OC versus the CQ?

not really, the owner loves the cleanability of it though
