My brushed aluminum step rails on my Tundra have some stains. What's the best method and product for removing the stains without marring the brushed aluminum?

thanks

I was wondering the same thing. I was going to use PoorBoys SSR1 on them to see if I could get the fine scratches out of them and then wax em.

Not sure if this is a good approach. Going to test this tonight on a small portion of the bar.

Thatâ€â„¢s a little vague, what do they look like, is it etched (below surface) can you feel the stains as â€Ëœbumps, etc.,etc /or a photo?

you might want to try some heavy rubbing compound and then work up to a finer compound. Maybe some #0000 steel wool?

P.S.-nice to see someone else on here with a tundra!

The step rails are not stained badly...just some stubborn minor stains...I just don't want to ruin the finish on the rails using the wrong method to clean them....the pic isn't a good one but maybe good enough to get some suggestions on how best to clean them.
