Broken Bottle

Wow this really sucks. I took a look at my detailing supply shelf and notices moisture. Something must have been leaking. Sure enough I looked at the gallon containers and whole gallon of Bug Squash and leaked out. This was a brand new bottle. Still even had the cap tapped on from shipping.

I’ve never had this happen before. My supplies are stored in the basement and have been for years without any problems. No freezing or extreme heat. I took a look at the bottom and there were two cracks. This really sucked. The whole gallon wasted

The gallon was only about a year old but I’ve had older supplies with no problem. Heck I still have 2 gallons of the old QD+ that must be almost 3 years old.

Has anyone every had anything like this happen to them?

you the man Stevie....did I tell you about a gallon of P-w-C that I got about two years ago...seems to be a leak, a very slow one...its almost empty...you can take care of me on my next order

Sorry to hear about your bottle, but it seems like Steve is going to take care of you. I've had a few bottles that have broken on me(all of them my fault), but nothing as big as a gallon.

You know Beemerboy, I seem to have that same problem with all of my Poorboy's products. I found my SS&S, PP, and SSR2.5 all have gradually emptied over time as well.:rofl

Well when I finally got my Poorboys wash with the wax in it, I had it for about 10 minutes when I forgot where I left it and then drove the truck over it.

NOt only did the bottle have a crack in it but it was flat.

I bet you have a clean and slick floor :D ..sorry to hear :passout:

Steve you ROCK:rockon.

When I was cleaning up the shelf and floor (with just warm water) I had a TON of suds. It was a shame watch it all go down the drain.

I'll be placing and order soon. I've been looking for a reason to try out some PWS and with all the uses around the house for PP I'll be needins some more of that also.

Thanks again Steve.

the same thing hapened to me with a gallon of SSS luck i cought it with 1/2 gallon left..

It must be an epidemic. First Beemerboy, than me and now you(holland Patrick) have the same problem. Lucky you caught yours when it was half full. I always seem to catch mine when it is near empty.:notme::D

Oh man you guys should have bought the special deal Steve offers, $2000 for life time refill of SSRs:gotcha:

No that was for the Natty's, and guaranteed not to leak for 15 years or 100,000 waxes which ever comes first :stick:

Dropping a nearly full 16 oz. bottle of Klasse AIO taught me two things.
1. The bottle doesn't break, it shatters.
2. Keeping some product in 3 oz. flip top bottles is not only going to keep that from happening again, they are easier to work with. I use a carpenter's nail apron when detailing and several will fit in the pockets.

The gallon jugs leaking surprises me and concerns me. I have at least 13 gallon jugs of various products in the basement right now. I have never had a leaker, but then I never knew of the possibility. Never had a leaker with any of my smaller bottles either. (If I didn't drop them. :))
