british detail video

Moving the clay quickly or not isn't an issue. The amount of pressure you apply can be.

Also how big of an area you do before re- folding and getting a clean clay surface is important. For example you would not do an entire hood with out kneading the clay and getting a clean surface. If you don't do this often you will mar the finish with the contaminants in the clay.

You go pay $5000.00 for a detail and see if you feel you got your moneys worth.

I would assume that the people paying the $5 grand to have the cars in the video detailed feel they get their money's worth. It's all relative to how each individual person values things. The guy must be doing something good if he can get customers again and again with that sort of price tag.

I think you have to have an open mind about it. People that have a lot of money don't look at it the same way people without a lot of money do.

Just because it doesn't seem worth it to you, doesn't mean there isn't someone out there that won't buy it. Personally Porsches, Mercedes, etc, etc aren't worth very much to me. I just don't like them. That doesn't mean that someone else won't value them much more than me and think they are worth every penny.

Still talking about this tosser?

- I paid $350.00 at a "discount" from some bum that doesnt even have his own detailing TV show or use Galactic Zymol! I think that is double what most people here on this forum charge from what I read. Does that mean the guy I went to is twice as good as you?

My point is, most don't care about the 99.9999% perfection in detailing. They just want their car cleaned by someone that comes highly reccommended and has a real business with accountability. In my case, I could have gone to the local detail garage where there are all used junks lined up and who the hell knows what chemicals for $125.00, I was happy to pay the $350 to relax and know my car was going to be handled properly and if anything went wrong, it would be paid for by the shop. Do any of you weekend detailers want to pay someone $1100 for a Cayenne S wheel that you stained with acid, I dont think I would want to find out.
