Bright Red Camaro SS + Lavender HHR LT Detailed

Thanks for the comments!

SilvaBimma: I like the TOL Tire Cleaner. It is very effective and can be cut with water to work in many ways. It's nice in that it's pretty much a spray on, let dwell, hose off product everytime, especially on well kept vehicles. If you pick some up, try it cut 3:1 with water.

Sick work! That has got to be the most liquid looking reds I have ever seen, and the HHR looks very clear and glossy. Great job as always.

Simply stunning Sean...that SS looks like a pool of red hotness!!! :bow

As far as different paint quality...if it is a factory SS car both the hood and rear spoiler were painted at a separate plant (at SLP) than the rest of the car.

I couldn't help but notice that you used Dawn wash. I thought after you use dawn wash you use another shampoo specifically for cars?

Anyways, incredible job on both cars. The SS is extremely wet! :2thumbs: :spot

I know the HT Tire Cleaner is amazing stuff, but what about for paint where the loose dirt is washed away by Z7? I find there is alot of residue / dirt dried up on the front fender, skirts, rear fender. APC?

Mike: Thank you; things are starting to make sense now :D.

lp: No need really. Dawn rinses clean. I wouldn't do this weekly, just on a bi/tri-annual detail.

Silva: I would go with a more potent mix of a car wash. It will still be milder than an APC, but should be strong enough to remove it. In the end, you want to think about *not* removing protection. Hope this helps.
