If you ever get the customer that wants the best job and wants to pay the highest premium possible for it, you'd best look around for the cameras and smile.
I do get a lot of client base that want the best possible detail and do not care what it costs. They either know my work or has heard about it through another person and know the amount of timeand passion I put into my top of the line details.
They usually give me the keys and tell me to do the best of the best. I guess I have just grown fond of that..
I think most of us that have done this for any length of time have within our regular client base customers like that. They want their vehicles to look the best, and realize that quality comes at some cost. They recognize our time, knowledge and skills are all worth something more than bargain basement pricing. That is not the same as wanting to pay the absolute most the can pay for the job. I think they still want to believe that they are getting a good (fair) deal. That's not too say that there isn't some doufus out there that wants to brag to his buddies about how much he spent to have his "ride" detailed. That is when the old adage "a fool and his money are soon parted" comes into play.
