Brand Specific Vs. Mix and Match

I very rarely use compounds and polishes made by the same company. With experience you will find certain products that you will like to use from various different brands. There are quite a few brands where I love their compounds but hate their polishes or the opposite with some other brands. If you limit yourself to using one brand for everything you are going to limit yourself.

I would`ve always figured using the same brand or product line would produce the best results

That`s a reasonable assumption and it *does* make it less likely to run into compatibility issues. But there are often different combos that offer various benefits if you have the knowledge base to put those combos together, or if you feel lucky and are willing to take a chance experimenting.

FWIW, my *best* work has come from a combination of product lines, on pretty much every vehicle I can think of. But that`s just me..
