Ill start with the fire truck, its a brand new truck my dads fire dept got, and the county made it sit in some spot on their training grounds for like a month before they could take delivery, and it made the metal all pitted and whatnot. So they wanted a coat of wax on everything and all metal polished. the diamondplate had
'textured" diamonds on it, making it a PITA to remove the black residue from polishing. They had the explorers wash it for me before I got there lol.
Waxed with M26
Polished with Meguiars marine metal polish (works great for polishing metal in rather good condition)
Metal polished with PC and some low profile orange pads. (went through two, tore them up but I have so many I didnt care)
Now for the Lexus. This lady called me up and is like "well im driving right next to you" (gotta love vehicle advertising), her car was trashed, covered in mud, interior was filty. Dont have any before pic sof the interior but it was bad. The paint had your typical swirling, but she only wanted to pay a set amound and not enough for a two step polishing so I decided to remove 75% of the defects and leave a real nice and deep finish, as most people are thrilled with that result anyways.
