Brake dust

Greetings

Looking for ideas on how to clean stubborn brake dust. I have trouble spots in corners where the wheel seems pitted and the wheels were not cleaned much before I got the car. It's a 2002 so not too old. I have used 4* gel cleaner and it worked better than the cheap wheel cleaners but still there. On a recommendation of Dwayne I got Meg's hot rims and it wont clean it either. Any ideas on other cleaners that are safe? I believe the wheels are clear coated.

I would use an acid based wheel cleaner and a pressure washer. If you are worried about the wheels possibly being clearcoared than I sugges you dilute it 5:1 and use a pressure washer

AM's stuff, that i am currently using, is great. Sparkleauto.com don't charge you for hazard shipping $$$
Use rubber gloves and gogles (Home Depot) 11 seconds and your brake dust gone - just like new.

So which cleaner are you using? The #66 acid based cleaner? Or # 48 non-acid? #66 says for chrome and wire wheels, don't know if its safe for clear coat wheels? What type of wheels do you use it on? Straight or what ratio?

I use S & N acid wheel cleaner and brightener...I mix 1 gallon with 4 gallons of water in a 5 gallon tub with a spicket
 
I am using Meg's Chrome and Wire Wheel Acid. I dilute a 32oz bottle with 1/2 and 1/2, and have not ran into problems yet....in fact, just did it today :)
