brake caliper paint

That looks interesting. How much is it supposed to cost? I'd like to see pics of finished results. Maybe I'll do a google search...

both G2 and foliatech caliper paints work very well

they both come with the precleaner brushes etc

I have foliatech on the M5 and G2 on the 325is and they both seem to be very similar in quality(high)

I posted a question awhile ago on caliper paint and where to get it, do a search for that and there will be a link to a site to get G2 paint from.

I used Plasti-Kote caliper paint available at pep Boys for about $8 per can. I used one can over 4 months ago and still looks as good as new.

I also am a big fan of the FoliaTec caliper paint.

The one I have is a two part (laquer and hardener) and comes with a cleaner and a brush. The paint is VERY durable and has lasted a long time without chipping or fading... and it has held up to the extremely high temperatures seen at the race track! Since the finish is so glossy, the brake dust just wipes off the caliper very easily. It is also much easier to brush the paint on than it is to mask off everything and try to spray the caliper on the car (like you would have to do with hi-temp spray paint). Orginally I was afraid that the results wouldn't be as good since it was applied with a brush, but it actually looks very smooth and even... just as good as any spray.

I'll snap a picture with the digital tomorrow and post it :xyxthumbs

Here's a quick picture of my caliper with FoliaTec paint. It could actually use another coat, as I missed some of the nooks... but you get the point ;)
