Bought this today.. Is it useful?

I have a 10hp 80 gallon compressor and it will run my pneumatic DA for about 5 minutes and then it needs to build back up again. If my PSI drops below 90 the power isn't there to run at its full capacity.

the buffer is rated at 0.36 HP, your compressor is rated at 1.7 HP...

it should keep up with no problems...

Are you serious??? 1.7 is the rating for the motor. Has nothing to do with tank capacity or cfm.

Flawless...didn't you say in another thread that you did not own a Porter Cable 7424 at the moment? If I were in your shoes, I'd sell that (you could easily get $100-$200) for it, and buy a PC7424 package. I think you'd get more use out of it.

You got a deal though.

Smoking deal, Dynabrade makes some of the best pneumatic tools on the planet. If your rig isn't capable of putting out the SCFM, sell it for a profit before it ends up sitting like the last owner and you forget how much it's worth. :rofl

BTW, I'll give you $40

I'll trade you that for 3 mother's powerballs. C'mon, you've already said how great powerball is to detail paint with, so you'll be getting 3 things you love for 1 thing you can't use. Good trade imho.
