Hey guys,

I just bought some new stuff and I was hoping you all could tell me the right way to mix and match these products to bring about the best results.

To give you an idea of the car I am working with, it is a Azure Blue Mach 1 Mustang......

Pinnacle Clay Bar + Lube (new)
PB's SSR2.5
PB's SSR2
PB's SSR1
PB's PP
PwC Blue (new)
EX-P
Natty's Blue (new)

These are the pads I bought to go along with these products : Pads

So there you have it, I have used some of these products before, but I am hoping I can get some advice on what it will take to get the best results. Such as cure time, when to use what, what pad to use with what product, etc....

Thanks alot
Brent

After you give your new clay a try.
It will depend on how bad your car is as to which SSR you will be using.
I normally only use a polishing pad (even with SSR 2.5)
I like using PwC (with polishing pad also) and top that with EX (wait 24 hrs between layers) apply the first layer by PC with a finising pad, others by hand.
After I have as many layers of EX that I want I top with Natty's Blue.

Good luck and don't forget the pics ;)

Very good advice Jay, I'll 2nd your opinion..

AFAIK, you can add 2 coats of EX immediately, but they do need to cure before adding the Natty's.

Steve told me to wait 24 hrs between coats of EX and to leave it on for 2 hours for best results

Weird - he told me 2 coats immediately to ensure total coverage. Then let it cure 24-36 hrs before topping.

I guess I didn't understand, now I get it so I can layer EX in same day without waiting between coats..

It's not so much as you are layering the first day as you ensuring total coverage. :)
