I want to get the PC. I have followed links in this thread to different websites and the easiest solution seems to be to get a package deal. I am looking at the $189 PC and pad kit from Autogeek. Is that a good choice for a beginner? I am thinking either that or purchase the machine from Coastal Tool and piecing together the pads from Exceldetail.
I already have several scratches on the car that I would like to buff out and I want to wax it every month or so. Any suggestions what I should do? Which products should a beginner use? It seems like Meguiars makes good product and a lot of people like the Poorboy stuff.
I have been here shortly too. I had almost the same questions you do. With peoples help i chose several packages and to augment those packages i chose some filler products. After reading almost all the threads for a month previous, i decided to spend my initial money to get to know one brand accross the board. once i feel comfortable with that I will move on to a sealant, then another brand, then a 2nd sealant brand.
