well I finally bit the bullet and got a house w/g/f. it a little bigger than I was looking for and w/more property but after all the crap I had looked at I couldn't say no. oh it has a 2 car garage too . not exactly heated but the boiler and hot water heater are in there so its pretty warm so far. pic here garage

I've lived in CA all my life and all I know is city life. I've always wanted to own a home in the countryside like that. With a view and porch like that, I can see why you'd put up with the commute.

I was thinking the same thing about the porch, that's great. Looks like a nice house. I would love to be in a county setting like that.
