Bonnet Question

Anyone ever try the Max Finishing Bonnet (Viper) from CMA???

Kind of scared to use the Viper stuff now, since the green MF towels that came with my Klasse kit failed my CD scratch test quite miserably. Thanks.

I have the Max Finishing Cloth. It's not like any other MF's we've all used. It's paper thin and silk-like feeling - a feeling unlike the MF's.

I think it's very good. I use it as the LAST cloth to touch my paint after a detail. I use it to remove Pinnacle QD. It wipes everything clean and streak free with ZERO lint.

I don't know if I'd use the bonnett however because it is so paper thin, I feel it's only good for a QD. In no way can it reomve (in my opinion) anything paste-like or heavy in nature.

I think the bonnett would be good (with a wool back) to use with nothing on it - simply as the last thing to touch your paint to polish up any streaks and ensure a uniform gloss all the way around. However, it should take off AIO (not much else) with no issues.

Don't be afraid of it it - it is NOTHING like the Viper MF's - completely different. It's worth a shot!

Thanks man...Yeah, I was going to use it with my PC after I buffed off AIO or SG by hand like you said, as the final thing to touch the car...I'll give it a shot!:xyxthumbs
