Bondo trim dressing?

I state this with as much kindness as I possibly can. But anyone who doesn't carry microfiber or cotton towels and a quick detailer in their car AT ALL TIMES should be banned from this Autopian community. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Wait til Brad B and David B hear about this. What are you all thinking about? How can you all be so apathetic to your car's needs. You never know when a bird is going to give you a special gift or when some bugs are going to splatter all over your hood.

I know Don, we just try and try with these people and they refuse to help themselves! I think they need to go to our Sunday Microfiber Service . . . we can show them the light!

While you do have a point, the moral behind the story is that we should all still be prepared for inhumane emergencies such as bug debris.

It must have been a good 70 degrees when the sun was out! Didn't work too well with my dressing for the 38-degree morning!

Hey STEVE or FLONI send me some of that snow so I can cool down a bit!

if a bug hit my car at this time of the year, it would cause a big scratch, because it'd be frozen solid as well :D

Funny Steve. You seem to get more witty during the late hours buddy. Have you ever thought of working graveyards. There might be a future in it for you.

Actually yes, too bad my industry forces me into more of a 9 to 5 shift. I am actually sort of nocturnal. I like going to bed around 3 and waking up around noon. I still like my old college schedule, and it does make for some struggling mornings at work at 8:30am. Oh, BTW, when I'm not carrying an ice scraper in my car, I usually carry a couple of those canvas fold out chairs, One Grand Show Off, and a couple of MF towels that I carry in a mesh bag.

while at my local auto parts store I noticed this. A Bondo trim kit, containing some dressing a a foam applicator. Now i know 3M makes some nice shizz but i have never herd of it. 12 bucks for the kit.

has anyone ever used it? i would like it know how it works.

you can find it in the section of Autozone where all the 3m stuff is

happy holidays
Mo Candy Cane

I have seen this at all the local auto parts stores. I think it is intended for black trim that has been severely oxidized. It is meant to restore faded black trim.

If you try it, let us know what you think. I have been curious as well.
