Bold N Bright question

I'm having a serious problem with this site for some reason and I can NOT read the search results page, so I'm forced to keep posting my questions as new posts, sorry.

So anyways, I'm a big fan of PB Products and want to try the Bold N Bright tire dressing. I'm wondering about how to best apply it. Their advertisement says you use it as a cleaner and a dressing. I'm not a fan of a cleaner/final dressing. How can it possibly remove dirt if you just spray it on and leave it on?

Do you spray it on, then wash it off, then spray another coat after it's dry? What's the catch?

B&B is one of my favorite products and has been my go to tire dressing for some time.

For prep I usually QEW my tires. If I'm doing a bucket wash with the hose I use car wash soap with a brush to clean tires. I don't use any strong soaps, I have Klasse on my wheels and don't want to strip it.

I apply it with a foam applicator, the rectangular ones with the concave surface where the product is sprayed on. I have used a round applicator too but like the rectangular ones better.

Applied to a clean tire B&B always gives me a consistant matte black surface on the tire with no streaking or sling or greasy feel.

I never buff it, just apply it and leave it alone. It can be recoated with a second coat but is usually not necessary for me.

My only negative with it is that, being water based, the durability is not great.

I think if you try it you will like it.

I also use a foam pad...apply product to foam just wipe it on and let it dry. Nice finish, easy to use, but limited durability.

It's more of a dressing than a cleaner, I'd say it will only clean light road dust. For anything more than that I'd do a regular full strength tire cleaning before dressing.

Bold N' Bright is the pretty much the only tire shine I use. I make sure the tires are clean after washing (I use Superclean and a brush). To apply Bn'B I use an Eagle One tire swipe/foam pad. On another note, has anyone tried the Bn'B Gel yet?
