Steve,
I thought I read on another forum that you might be working on formulating BnB as a gel. Is there any truth to this? Because I love BnB but I also love using a gel.
This would be the best of both worlds for me :yay :rockon

Please say it it's so

This is slightly off-topic and if it bothers anyone, I'll remove it.

Is there some advantage to a product being in a gel form?
For cleaners and dressings, I have mostly used liquid products that could be wiped on or sprayed on. One exception being 4 Star Leather Cleaner and I almost didn't buy it because it was a gel.
Right now I use B&B as a spray tire cleaner/dressing and can't see where a gel would be of any benefit.

Obviously, several people do like gel formulations since quite a few are available.
I just haven't seen what the appeal is.

For me I apply all my dressings with an applicator BnB & NL.
I like the gel because it seems to "ride" on the applicator rather than soak in.

Also with an applicator I can work the product into the tire rather than just spray. I feel that it gives be even coverage and there isn't any runs for me to wipe off, so I guess that would could back on sling. I still let the tire dry about a 1/2 hour just to make sure though.

I just started using an older microfiber mitt for apply my dressing. I spray four spots on the tire (one, three, six, and nine o'clock) then spray a little on the finger and thumb portion of the mitt. This is by far the quickest, easiest, and best way I found to apply the dressing. The use of you thumb really helps to prevent getting any on the rims.

No, we were thinking of changing Trim Restorer into a gel, but I wasn't convinced that this particular formula was better than the original , so back to the drawing board ;) Bold N Bright as a gel ? I could have a sample made up to give it a try. I'll just have to remember :D
Charles, I prefer to do as you do, especially when using Spray and Wipe vs a full wash. We also show that method to people at Classic car shows and they are amazed how white their white walls get and also with how clean, deep and black their tires become without using a hose or bucket :)
