How did they fix it? Repaint?

Polished it out. He did not want me to do it. It was a situation where he was going to have them make it better no matter what. He felt if I touched it and it did not come out right, he could not bring it back to the dealer.

Don't know who ended up working on your car, but my price was only $200 I think and would have been swirl free. Your swirls were not that deep.



Oh well, we all live and learn.

Wow! That hood was terrible. Definite crime against Autopian standards being committed.



I also kind of agree with "ebpcivicsi" in that because a lot of the scratches looked rather straight, they looked like left over wetsanding marks.
